This dataset contains resting state and auditory oddball task EEG recordings from older adults under two conditions: a control condition and an arousal condition induced by threat of unpredictable shock. Data were collected to examine locus coeruleus-noradrenaline system activity and its relation to arousal, attention, and behavior. Recordings include eyes-open and eyes-closed resting state segments as well as passive and active auditory oddball paradigms with standard, target, and distractor tones.

MEG-SCANS is a magnetoencephalography (MEG) dataset comprising raw and MaxFiltered recordings from 24 German-speaking participants performing an auditory speech experiment.
