The Bitbrain Open Access Sleep (BOAS) dataset contains 128 nights of simultaneous recordings from a clinical polysomnography (PSG) system (Micromed Brain Quick Plus Evolution) and a wearable forehead EEG headband (Bitbrain). Recordings come from 108 adult participants drawn from the general population. Sleep stages were labeled by consensus of three expert scorers following AASM criteria, and AI-generated labels are provided for both PSG and headband data. The dataset supports validating wearable EEG against the PSG standard and developing automatic sleep scoring.
ISRUC-Sleep is a public collection of overnight polysomnographic recordings with manual sleep stage annotations, organized into three subgroups that include healthy subjects, patients with sleep disorders, and multiple-night recordings. Signals include EEG, EOG, EMG and respiratory channels. Each recording was scored in 30-second epochs by two expert scorers. The dataset supports research on automatic sleep staging and sleep-disordered breathing, and has been converted to BIDS.

Overnight simultaneous EEG-fMRI recordings from a pilot sleep study (sleep1) conducted at the Advanced MRI section of NINDS, NIH, around 2016-2017. Subjects were scanned for approximately 8 hours across two consecutive nights and were aroused at random intervals eight times per night. The dataset is the pilot for the later sleep2 study.

The Ear-EEG Sleep Monitoring 2019 (EESM19) dataset contains overnight home recordings from 20 subjects who each slept four nights with partial polysomnography (EEG, EOG, chin EMG), dry-contact ear-EEG, and a wrist-worn actigraph. Ten of these subjects also completed 12 further nights with only ear-EEG, actigraphy, and a single EOG electrode. The dataset also includes sleep scoring, post-night comfort questionnaires, sleep diaries, and electrode quality-check markers. It was collected to develop and assess ear-EEG as a sleep monitoring platform.

This dataset contains 1,983 overnight polysomnography recordings from patients at the Massachusetts General Hospital sleep laboratory, most of whom were evaluated for suspected sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea. It was created for the PhysioNet/Computing in Cardiology Challenge 2018 on automatic detection of sleep arousals. The training set (994 subjects) includes expert annotations of sleep stages, respiratory events and arousals, while the test set (989 subjects) contains signals only. Recordings comprise EEG, EOG, EMG, respiratory effort, airflow, SpO2 and ECG channels sampled at 200 Hz.
