A sample intracranial EEG (iEEG) dataset prepared for the WIRED ICM course on intracranial recordings in humans, epilepsy, and deep brain stimulation (Paris, March 2024). It contains recordings from patients with epilepsy during naturalistic listening tasks (movie trailers and TIMIT sentences). It also includes illustrative examples of seizure-related activity and vagus nerve stimulator artifact.

Intracranial electrophysiology recordings from the ventral posterolateral (VPL) thalamus of macaques, collected with a 32-channel linear probe during transcranial focused ultrasound (FUS) neuromodulation and tactile stimulation. FUS was targeted either to VPL thalamus or to insular cortex while recording remained in VPL. The dataset includes spiking and local field potential recordings supporting a study of FUS effects on primate thalamic activity.

This dataset contains simultaneously recorded EEG and fMRI data from 22 adults aged 23 to 51 years, collected at the Nathan Kline Institute while participants watched naturalistic video stimuli. This dataset contains intracranial EEG (stereo-EEG) recordings acquired during 41 high-frequency electrical cortical stimulations that evoked negative motor responses. Data come from 23 patients undergoing presurgical evaluation for drug-resistant epilepsy. Each recording spans about 24 seconds around a stimulation and includes pre- and post-stimulation 5-second epochs, which were used for connectivity analysis. Stimulation contact pairs, current intensities and evoked effects are annotated in the events files.

EEG recordings from healthy participants performing self-initiated palmar and lateral reach-and-grasp actions, acquired simultaneously across three recording systems: gel-based laboratory EEG, water-based mobile EEG, and dry-electrode mobile EEG. The dataset supports investigation of the feasibility of decoding natural reach-and-grasp movement-related cortical potentials across EEG acquisition modalities for brain-computer interface applications. A longitudinal MEG dataset investigating brain activity during early skill learning, overnight consolidation, and longer-term retention in 31 healthy right-handed adults. Participants performed a sequential finger tapping task with the non-dominant left hand across up to three MEG sessions (initial training, about 24 hours later, and about 30 days later), with resting-state scans before and after practice. Anatomical MRI, behavioral responses, eye tracking and pupillometry, and forearm EMG were also recorded and synchronized with MEG.

A mobile EEG motor imagery dataset from two pilots, one tetraplegic and one able-bodied, recorded during development of the neuroTUM brain-computer interface for the 2024 Cybathlon BCI race. Data were acquired with a 24-channel wireless Smarting mobi system at 250 Hz using an arrow-cue paradigm with subject-specific sets of three mental tasks (rest, hand and/or foot motor imagery). The dataset is re-released in BIDS format with HED annotations via MOABB.

This dataset contains non-invasive electrophysiological recordings from the human cervical spinal cord in 30 healthy young adults, collected to test whether temporal expectation influences initial sensory processing in the spinal cord. Participants received electric median nerve stimulation at the left wrist after an auditory cue, with the cue-stimulus interval either fixed at 1100 ms or varied randomly between 100 and 2100 ms. Participants silently counted rare double-stimulus trials (80 ms ISI) and reported the count at the end of each block.
