EEG recordings from participants viewing 200 object images presented in rapid serial visual presentation (RSVP) streams at 5 Hz or 20 Hz. The dataset supports investigation of the temporal representational dynamics of visual object processing under rapid presentation conditions. It accompanies a published NeuroImage study on object representations in RSVP streams.
This dataset contains EEG recordings from 7 participants performing an auditory imagery task, in which they imagined the sounds made by objects from the semantic categories of animals and tools for 5 seconds. It supports research on semantic decoding and brain-computer interfacing. Recordings were made with a 64-channel BioSemi system, with additional EOG, physiological, and respiration channels.
EEG and behavioral dataset from 39 Italian-speaking university students performing a picture-matching task in which target pictures matched or mismatched a preceding cue. Cues were physical (picture), imagery (single word), literal sentence, or metaphorical sentence. The data are provided as preprocessed long epochs (filtered, mastoid re-referenced, ocular ICA cleaned). The dataset was collected within the ERC PROMENADE project to test how mental representations generated by different cue types influence target picture processing. Vocabulary and mental imagery measures are included per participant.
This dataset, named DataSet2, is an EEG dataset originally deposited on OpenNeuro (ds002833) and mirrored on NEMAR. It was contributed by Mheich and colleagues. The available documentation gives no details on the experimental paradigm or participants.
High-density EEG (256 electrodes) recorded in 20 right-handed healthy volunteers in Rennes, France, across four conditions: eyes-open resting state, visual naming, auditory naming, and a working memory (picture recognition) task. The dataset supports studies of functional brain connectivity and network dynamics during cognitive tasks.
SeizeIT2 is a multicenter, prospective dataset of wearable behind-the-ear EEG, ECG, EMG and movement recordings from 125 adult and pediatric patients with focal epilepsy. Patients were monitored in five European epilepsy monitoring units with the Sensor Dot wearable device alongside standard video-EEG. The dataset contains about 11,640 hours of wearable data with 886 recorded focal seizures, annotated in BIDS-score compatible format, and supports the development and validation of seizure detection algorithms.
EEG recordings from participants performing a rapid go/nogo visual task in which briefly flashed (20 ms) natural photographs had to be either categorized (animal vs. non-animal) or recognized (a previously learned probe image). Data were collected over two recording days, in series of 100 images with equally likely target and non-target trials. The dataset supports research on the timing of visual categorization and recognition processes and on single-trial EEG dynamics.
Intraoperative electrocorticography (ECoG) recordings of median nerve somatosensory evoked potentials (SEP) from 10 patients undergoing brain tumor resection in the perirolandic region. Two 4-contact ECoG strips, one low impedance (LoZ) and one high impedance (HiZ), were recorded simultaneously to compare fast ripple and high frequency oscillation detection. The data comprise continuous raw ECoG in BIDS format.
Subdural electrocorticography (ECoG) recorded at the University Medical Center Utrecht from three epilepsy patients (S4-S6) who imagined grasping a cylinder with the left or right hand. The data are the subset of participants from Stolk et al. (2019) who gave permission to share, and they support investigation of dissociated alpha and beta rhythmic activity in the human sensorimotor system. Data are released as unprocessed trial segments, stored as epoched recordings with electrode positions and author-provided atlas labels.
