SSVEP dataset (MAMEM Dataset III) of 14-channel Emotiv EPOC EEG recorded from 11 healthy, BCI-naive subjects who focused on flickering boxes at five frequencies (6.66, 7.50, 8.57, 10.00 and 12.00 Hz). The recordings accompany a comparative evaluation of algorithms for filtering, artifact removal, feature extraction and classification in SSVEP-based brain-computer interfaces. The data are preprocessed (5-48 Hz bandpass, 50 Hz notch, AMUSE/ICA artifact removal, common average reference) and organized in BIDS with HED annotations.

A BIDS-formatted derivative of the OpenBMI SSVEP EEG dataset (Lee et al. 2019), converted via the MOABB framework for standardized BCI benchmarking. It contains 62-channel EEG recorded at 1000 Hz from 54 participants over two sessions, with a four-class steady-state visually evoked potential paradigm (21,600 trials of 4 s each). The data support analysis of SSVEP-based brain-computer interfaces and BCI illiteracy.

EEG recordings from 47 neurotypical children and adolescents (5-18 years) who each completed a two-stage SSVEP-based brain-computer interface session. The session comprised a stimulus personalization pipeline followed by an online 4-target SSVEP game. Data were recorded with a 16-channel g.tec gel-based system at 256 Hz. The dataset was released by the BCI4Kids program to support signal-processing methods developed specifically for pediatric SSVEP-BCI data.

An 8-channel EEG dataset from 59 healthy adolescents (aged 10-16) who performed a 40-target SSVEP-based brain-computer interface task. The task used joint frequency and phase modulation (JFPM) with stimulation frequencies of 8.0-15.8 Hz. Data were collected at the Suzhou Junior Competition of BCI Olympics 2022 and are provided as epoched trials, 4 blocks of 40 trials per subject. The dataset supports benchmarking of SSVEP classification and spatial-filtering methods.

The BETA database contains 64-channel EEG recordings from 70 healthy participants (aged 9-64 years) performing a 40-target cued-spelling SSVEP-BCI task. Stimuli used joint frequency and phase modulation (JFPM) on a 5x8 virtual keyboard, with frequencies of 8-15.8 Hz. Data were recorded in a normal classroom rather than a shielded room, giving a more realistic benchmark for SSVEP-based brain-computer interfaces.
