EEG dataset from a registered report examining the error-related negativity (ERN) across three versions of the flanker task. The study evaluates experimental effects and data quality of the task variants, and the data are also used to assess the stability of performance monitoring over prolonged task performance. Recordings are provided in BIDS format with response-locked and stimulus-locked event labels.
