This dataset contains behavioral events and intracranial EEG recordings from a delayed free recall task with closed-loop electrical stimulation delivered during word encoding. A logistic regression classifier trained on participants' prior free recall sessions predicts subsequent recall from encoding-period neural activity, and stimulation is triggered when predicted recall is low. Data were collected at multiple clinical sites in collaboration with the Computational Memory Lab at the University of Pennsylvania.

EEG, galvanic skin response (GSR) and electrocardiogram (ECG) recordings from healthy adult volunteers listening to 40-s synthetic music clips designed to target specific affective states defined by valence and arousal. The data were collected to calibrate an affective brain-computer music interface that induces target emotional states through real-time modification of generated music. Each session comprised 5 runs of 18 music trials, and self-reported valence and arousal ratings are included. This is the calibration dataset of three related datasets from the BCMI-MIdAS project.

It contains recordings from patients with epilepsy during naturalistic listening tasks (movie trailers and TIMIT sentences). This dataset contains EEG recordings from a study testing whether theta transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) improves working memory. Participants received either 20 minutes of verum or sham stimulation (1 mA, 6 Hz, Fpz-CPz) and then performed working memory tasks requiring mental manipulation or simple retention of items. Resting-state EEG with eyes closed and eyes open was also recorded before the task.

A multimodal porcine dataset of corticothalamic communication recorded during analgesia, sedation, and controlled gradual cerebral ischemia followed by recovery. It includes 11 juvenile pigs monitored across sedation states (isoflurane, fentanyl, propofol), one or two ischemia episodes, and recovery phases. Animals were divided into a sedation-only group and an ischemia group.

EEG recordings from 19 healthy participants using a music-based brain-computer interface that lets users dynamically modulate music tempo through intentional control. Participants kinaesthetically imagined squeezing a ball with the right hand to increase tempo, or relaxed to decrease it. The paradigm comprised 9 runs, beginning with a calibration run of 30 trials in pairs of increase and decrease tempo trials.
