EEG recordings from 19 healthy participants using a music-based brain-computer interface that lets users dynamically modulate music tempo through intentional control. Participants kinaesthetically imagined squeezing a ball with the right hand to increase tempo, or relaxed to decrease it. The paradigm comprised 9 runs, beginning with a calibration run of 30 trials in pairs of increase and decrease tempo trials.

This dataset contains intracranial EEG (stereo-EEG) recordings acquired during 41 high-frequency electrical cortical stimulations that evoked negative motor responses. Data come from 23 patients undergoing presurgical evaluation for drug-resistant epilepsy. Each recording spans about 24 seconds around a stimulation and includes pre- and post-stimulation 5-second epochs, which were used for connectivity analysis. Stimulation contact pairs, current intensities and evoked effects are annotated in the events files.

EEG recordings from 13 participants using a P300-based visual speller that relies on covert spatial attention and non-spatial feature attention (color and form), so users do not need to move their gaze. The study compared three speller variants (Hex-o-Spell, Cake Speller, Center Speller) in a calibration and online-test design. Data were recorded with 63 channels at 250 Hz, and event markers distinguish target from non-target intensifications.

Preprocessed stereotactic EEG (SEEG) high-gamma power (50-100 Hz) from 16 patients with pharmaco-resistant epilepsy performing a probabilistic instrumental learning task with reward and punishment conditions. Data cover 248 bipolar derivations in the anterior insula, dorsolateral prefrontal cortex, lateral orbitofrontal cortex and ventromedial prefrontal cortex, time-locked to outcome. The derivative release supports information-theoretic analyses showing dissociable reward and punishment subsystems in the human frontal cortex.

EEG recordings from 8 healthy adults using a real-time, online affective music brain-computer interface. The system identified each listener's emotional state and modified synthetically generated 60 s music clips on the fly to induce target affective states defined by valence and arousal. The dataset includes self-reported valence and arousal and is one of three connected datasets from the BCMI-MIdAS project.
