Stereoelectroencephalography (sEEG) recordings from epilepsy patients at Oregon Health & Science University, collected while they were in the epilepsy monitoring unit awaiting seizures. Participants were presented with auditory and visual numerical stimuli, either symbolic (Arabic numerals and spoken numbers) or non-symbolic (dots and beeps). The dataset supports investigation of the neural representation of numerical quantity across modalities and formats.
This dataset contains 128-channel EEG recordings from sixty-two obese and non-obese preteens performing a delayed-verification arithmetic task. It supports investigation of how obesity relates to arithmetic processing, as indexed by event-related potentials, in children with high and low math skills. Participant information includes age, gender, body mass index, and task performance.
EEG recordings from children performing letter discrimination and visual search tasks involving the mirror-image letters b and d, collected in an embodied learning for literacy study. Each participant completed a pre-intervention discrimination task, an intervention-phase visual search task, and a post-intervention discrimination task. Participants were assigned to an intervention or control group, and events mark stimulus presentation of b and d letters, including practice trials.
