EEG recordings from participants viewing object and word stimuli presented in rapid serial streams at 5 Hz to the left visual field, the right visual field, or centrally. Participants performed an orthogonal red target detection task while stimuli were shown. The dataset supports investigation of the temporal dynamics of visual object coding within and across the cerebral hemispheres, particularly for objects in peripheral vision.
Preprocessed EEG recordings from 20 individuals with a schizophrenia spectrum disorder and 22 healthy control participants performing a visual motion discrimination task with confidence reporting. Motion coherence was adjusted per individual with a staircase procedure to equate performance between groups, allowing study of perceptual decision-making and metacognition in schizophrenia.
[ recorded from six patients with depth electrodes performing an approach-avoidance decision task. It supports analysis of the differential contributions of medial and lateral orbitofrontal cortex to decision-making under conflict. The data are the authors' processed HFA, epoched per trial and aligned to trial onset and decision, and are accompanied by per-trial behavioural data and artifact-review labels.
Acute electrocorticography recorded from two epilepsy surgery patients at the University of Iowa during a speech prediction task, minutes before and after neurosurgical disconnection of the left anterior temporal lobe (a semantic hub). Recordings cover frontal grids, temporal pole, subtemporal and lateral temporal strips, and a Heschl's gyrus depth electrode. This derivative release provides downsampled (1000 Hz) and DBT/SVD-denoised BrainVision-format data with events and electrode localisation tables.
EEG-BIDS dataset of cue-locked EEG recordings and event annotations from 43 neurotypical adults performing a random-dot kinematogram motion discrimination task. The task dissociates low-level priors (implicitly learned tone-motion contingencies) from high-level priors (a cover story about tinted glasses) against a neutral baseline. The data support analyses of hierarchical priors with signal detection theory, drift-diffusion modeling, and occipital oscillatory and aperiodic EEG activity, alongside psychosis-proneness and psychological flexibility questionnaires.
This dataset contains EEG and behavioral recordings from 120 healthy adults performing an emotion processing and regulation task with static images under sham and active transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) of the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex. Each participant completed two counterbalanced sessions. It includes preprocessed ERP derivatives and tDCS side-effect and blinding-effectiveness questionnaire data, and examines affective response evaluation in lonely individuals.
