This dataset provides behavioral events and intracranial EEG recordings from a categorized delayed free recall task. Participants studied visually presented word lists built from 25 semantic categories, completed arithmetic distractor problems, and then freely recalled the words. Each 12-word list contains pairs of same-category words from three categories. Data were collected at multiple clinical sites in collaboration with the Computational Memory Lab at the University of Pennsylvania.
This dataset contains 124-channel EEG recordings from 13 participants who imagined and perceived stimuli from three modalities: visual pictorial, visual orthographic, and auditory. Stimuli came from three semantically dissimilar categories (guitar, flower, penguin). Raw, pre-processed, and epoched versions of the data are provided to support research on semantic decoding from EEG.
TMNRED is an EEG dataset recorded from 30 native Chinese speakers during natural reading of news headlines and short sentences. Participants identified fuzzy semantic targets among target and non-target items. The dataset supports research on semantic processing of Chinese in naturalistic reading and includes raw and preprocessed data in BIDS format.
EEG dataset from a semantic fear conditioning task, collected to examine how awareness of stimulus contingencies shapes neural responses during fear conditioning. The recordings were used in an accompanying study by Pavlov and colleagues on contingency awareness. The data are organized in BIDS format with HED annotations.
EEG dataset recorded during rapid serial visual presentation (RSVP) of sentences with flanking words, in which the critical center word was shown between grey flanker words. Sentences contained subject-verb agreement violations, semantic violations, double violations, word-order violations, or no violation (controls). The dataset supports research on sentence processing and parafoveal word processing during reading.
This dataset contains 64-channel EEG recordings and behavioural ratings from four participants who read and evaluated 210 short English-language texts: Haiku, Senryu, and non-poetic control texts. Each text was rated on aesthetic appeal, vivid imagery, being moved, originality, and creativity. These participants' recordings were acquired in segments because of session interruptions and were concatenated during preprocessing. They are released as a companion to the main Poetry Assessment EEG Dataset 1 for completeness and transparency.
This dataset contains EEG recordings from deaf readers who read sentences containing semantic and syntactic violations, used to assess sensitivity to semantic and syntactic information during reading. Event-related potentials were recorded while participants viewed 180 sentences presented word by word, including subject-verb agreement, semantic, double, and word-order violations alongside correct control sentences.
MEG dataset from a logical reasoning study collected by the Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience Laboratory (UPM - UCM). The dataset is organized in BIDS format and mirrored on NEMAR from the OpenNeuro deposit ds003483.
