This dataset contains 64-channel EEG recordings and behavioural ratings from participants who read and evaluated 210 short English-language texts: 70 Haiku, 70 Senryu, and 70 non-poetic control texts. Each text was rated on aesthetic appeal, vivid imagery, being moved, originality, and creativity. This first of two BIDS datasets includes 47 participants whose recordings passed technical validation. Psychometric questionnaire data and resting-state EEG are also provided.

Raw EEG recordings from 15 participants who each completed three auditory oddball sequences: the Optimum-1 paradigm for mismatch negativity (MMN), a learning-oddball paradigm for P3b, and the local–global paradigm for local and global effects. The dataset supports comparison of within-individual sensitivity of MMN and P3b effects across specialized oddball sequences and the local–global paradigm. Corrected event files, stimulation sequence definitions and stimulus presentation code are included.

Each participant has a combined recording with eyes-open and eyes-closed baselines followed by roughly 17 s exposures to jungle and deconstruct soundscapes. Liking ratings and baseline-state survey items are included in participants.tsv, and the stimulus audio is provided. An EEGLAB-ready processed version is provided as a derivative.

This dataset contains consumer-grade 14-channel EEG (EMOTIV EPOC X) recorded from 30 sessions while participants completed eyes-open and eyes-closed baselines and listened to about 17 s of two sonic-seasoning soundscapes (jungle and deconstruct). Liking ratings and baseline-state survey items are provided in participants.tsv, with the stimulus audio and the manufacturer's contact and EEG quality signals. An EEGLAB-ready processed version of the two soundscape conditions is included as a derivative.
