EEG recordings from an auditory oddball task collected at the Meditation Research Institute in Rishikesh, India. Participants completed three sessions of a P300 paradigm with standard tones, oddball tones and white-noise distractors while sitting with their eyes closed in a darkened room. The dataset supports research on auditory event-related potentials and attention.

This dataset contains consumer-grade 14-channel EEG (EMOTIV EPOC X) recorded from 30 sessions while participants completed eyes-open and eyes-closed baselines and listened to about 17 s of two sonic-seasoning soundscapes (jungle and deconstruct). Liking ratings and baseline-state survey items are provided in participants.tsv, with the stimulus audio and the manufacturer's contact and EEG quality signals. An EEGLAB-ready processed version of the two soundscape conditions is included as a derivative.

Intraoperative microelectrode recordings from the ventral intermediate (VIM) thalamus region of 9 adults with medication-refractory essential tremor undergoing deep brain stimulation surgery. At each recording depth, 60 s were recorded with and without transcutaneous afferent patterned stimulation (TAPS), a wearable peripheral nerve stimulation therapy applied to the treated hand. This derivative release repackages the authors' processed 48 kHz signals into BIDS (BrainVision format), with TAPS state, depth and motion-artifact blanking masks provided as metadata.

EEG recordings from 22 analyzed normal-hearing adults (24 enrolled) listening to clicks, music, and speech, collected to derive auditory brainstem responses (ABR) from continuous natural stimuli by deconvolution. The dataset compares subcortical and cortical responses to six music genres and six speech types. Raw BrainVision EEG files, event annotations, and the audio stimuli are included.

EEG recordings from elderly participants with dementia during 40 Hz auditory stimulation designed to entrain brain oscillations in the gamma band. The stimulus was a 5 kHz carrier tone amplitude modulated by a 40 Hz pulse train, presented in short (six-trial) and long (ten-trial) sessions with interleaved rest. The dataset supports investigation of gamma entrainment as a potential intervention for Alzheimer's disease-related symptoms.
