…respiration belt tightened over participants' upper abdomen. PPG sensors, which record changes…
EEG recordings from fourteen healthy participants performing a covert spatial attention task across three sessions. The study tested real-time feedback of alpha power lateralization (α-LI) versus sham feedback in a single-blinded crossover design. It examined whether such neurofeedback leads to behavioral improvements in attention.
M3CV is a multi-subject, multi-session, multi-task EEG database with 64-channel recordings from 95 healthy young adults. Each subject was recorded on two different days across six paradigms covering 13 distributed signal types: resting states, motor execution, transient visual, auditory and somatosensory responses, SSVEP, P300, SSAEP and SSSEP. The data were originally released for an EEG-based biometrics competition on Kaggle. This BIDS version reconstructs pseudo-continuous EEG from the distributed pre-epoched, preprocessed 250 Hz files.

EEG recordings from 10 BCI-naive participants acquired with a low-cost consumer-grade device during a motor imagery versus rest protocol. Participants performed kinesthetic imagination of a grasping movement with the dominant hand and rest/idle conditions across five runs, including an initial real-movement run. EMG of the dominant hand was recorded for protocol control, supporting evaluation of affordable brain-computer interface systems.

An example functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) dataset from five participants performing a finger tapping task, organized according to the draft fNIRS BIDS specification. Participants tapped their left or right thumb to fingers, or rested as a control, in response to auditory cues, with sensors placed over the motor cortex and short channels attached. The dataset demonstrates conversion of NIRx recordings to BIDS using MNE-BIDS.
