This dataset contains functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) recordings of prefrontal cortex activity from 20 participants (ages 21-46; 5 female, 15 male) in a driving simulator. Participants experienced fourteen types of highly automated driving scenarios, and the dataset accompanies scenario data and subjective danger ratings. It is intended to support study of prefrontal activity differences between low-risk and high-risk driving episodes, with potential application to brain-computer interfaces and improving safety of the intended functionality (SOTIF).

Electroencephalography (EEG) recordings from experiment 2 of a study on how the brain prioritises task-relevant information during rapid serial visual presentation (RSVP). Participants viewed small objects overlaid on large letters, allowing neural dynamics of attended and unattended stimulus features to be compared. The dataset supports time-resolved decoding analyses of attention effects on visual object representations.

Eye-tracking data from 27 participants who watched five educational videos in two sessions: an attentive condition, in which participants were tested afterward with multiple-choice questions, and a distracted condition, in which they silently counted backwards. The dataset includes gaze, pupil size, blinks, saccades and fixations, plus questionnaires with domain and memory questions. It is Experiment 1 of the Brain, Body, and Behavior Dataset (BBBD) and supports research on attention and learning from video.
