EEG dataset investigating whether episodic future thinking can reduce temporal discounting. Participants described a series of personal future events and were then cued to think about these events while making intertemporal choices. They also rated the vividness of their mental imagery for each event.
EEG and ECG recordings collected during guided imagery hypnotherapy (LIGHT) sessions, in which a hypnotherapist uses storytelling and deep visualization to promote personal growth and well-being. The approach targets eudaemonic well-being, emphasizing meaning and self-realization, which distinguishes it from traditional hypnotherapy. The dataset includes a baseline resting EEG session and in-lab recordings from selected hypnotherapy sessions.
EEG recordings from children performing letter discrimination and visual search tasks involving the mirror-image letters b and d, collected in an embodied learning for literacy study. Each participant completed a pre-intervention discrimination task, an intervention-phase visual search task, and a post-intervention discrimination task. Participants were assigned to an intervention or control group, and events mark stimulus presentation of b and d letters, including practice trials.
Magnetoencephalography (MEG) recordings from 20 adult participants viewing simple geometric shapes such as hexagons, triangles and quadrilaterals. The dataset supports a study of how the human brain encodes geometric regularity, including symmetries and parallelism, and contrasts it with visual processing in convolutional neural networks and transformer models. It is released anonymized and defaced in BIDS format, alongside a companion fMRI dataset.
