The Penn Electrophysiology of Encoding and Retrieval Study (PEERS) characterizes behavioral and electrophysiological correlates of memory encoding and retrieval in highly practiced individuals. Across five PEERS experiments, more than 300 subjects contributed over 7,000 ninety-minute memory testing sessions with EEG. This dataset includes three free recall experiments: ltpFR (PEERS1-3), ltpFR2 (PEERS4), and VFFR (PEERS5).

This dataset contains magnetoencephalography (MEG) recordings from participants performing a cued recall task involving personally familiar people and places. It was collected to examine sustained neural representations of familiar people and places during recall. The data are organized in BIDS format.

Intracranial EEG (stereo-EEG) recordings from 22 patients with drug-resistant epilepsy undergoing presurgical evaluation, capturing responses to 115 high-frequency intracranial electrical stimulations that evoked visual hallucinations. Each recording spans 21 seconds around the stimulation, with events annotated by stimulated contact pair, current intensity, and evoked effect, classified into 14 clinical categories. The data support identification of brain networks underlying visual symptoms and creation of symptom-related activation and connectivity maps.

A multi-modal neuroimaging dataset combining structural MRI (T1w), magnetoencephalography (MEG), and EEG recorded during electrical median nerve stimulation at the right wrist. Participants responded to each stimulus by lifting the left index finger as quickly as possible, allowing study of somatosensory and motor responses. Anatomical fiducials were digitized to align MEG with MRI, and event triggers mark stimuli and finger-lift responses.

BCCWJ-EEG contains electroencephalography recordings from 41 native Japanese speakers reading newspaper articles from the Balanced Corpus of Contemporary Written Japanese, presented word by word using rapid serial visual presentation. It is part of the BCCWJ-Brain collection, which also includes fMRI and MEG datasets acquired with the same stimuli in separate participant groups, enabling cross-modality comparisons of language processing. Preprocessed derivatives (filtered, ICA-cleaned, re-referenced, and evoked data) are provided.
