EEG dataset accompanying the PLOS ONE article 'Comprehensive methodology for sample enrichment in EEG biomarker studies for Alzheimer's risk classification' (Henao Isaza, Aguillon, Tobón Quintero, Lopera, & Ochoa Gómez, 2026). The recordings support a methodology for enriching samples in biomarker studies that classify Alzheimer's disease risk from EEG features. Data are stored in BIDS format (BrainVision .vhdr/.eeg/.vmrk files with accompanying metadata) and released under a CC0 license.

Human EEG recordings from 20 participants viewing rapid sequences of overlaid oriented grating pairs while detecting a target grating of a specific orientation. Feature-based attention was manipulated by cueing one of two gratings by colour, and temporal expectation was manipulated by making stimulus onset timing predictable or unpredictable. The dataset supports investigation of the time-course of attention effects dissociated from temporal expectation and target-related processes.

EEG recordings from 31 participants performing a third-party moral judgment task embedded in a semantic congruency (N400) paradigm. Participants heard scenarios describing intentional or accidental harm and judged whether a final target word was congruent with the scenario. Agent intention and semantic congruency were manipulated orthogonally to examine the cognitive conflict triggered by moral judgment of accidental harm.

A mobile EEG dataset of auditory attention from 20 participants performing a two-competing-speaker paradigm. Participants either sat on a chair or walked an indoor route while attending to one of two speakers. Salient environmental events presented from in front of the participant were used to disrupt attention, allowing neural tracking of speech to be studied in realistic, mobile conditions.
