Electroencephalographic recordings from 14 healthy participants performing a cue-guided, two-class motor imagery task (right hand versus feet) in a Graz-BCI paradigm with continuous visual feedback. Each participant completed a single session of 8 runs and 160 trials, recorded with 15 EEG channels at 512 Hz. The dataset was used to compare random forest and regularized LDA classifiers for sensorimotor rhythm brain-computer interfaces.

This dataset provides simultaneous EEG and fNIRS recordings from 12 participants performing a silent naming task and three sensory-based imagery tasks (visual, auditory, tactile) on objects from the semantic categories of animals and tools. It supports research on semantic decoding and brain-computer interfacing. Stimulus images and example Python scripts for loading the data with MNE and MNE-BIDS are included.

EEG recordings from 10 healthy participants using an auditory P300 brain-computer interface speller based on the AMUSE (Auditory Multi-class Spatial ERP) paradigm. Six speakers placed around the participant provided spatial auditory cues for a two-step, hex-o-spell-like character selection. The recordings include calibration and online spelling in two sessions, the second using a dynamic stopping method to increase writing speed.

EEG motor imagery dataset recorded from 50 acute stroke patients (1-30 days post-stroke) using a wireless portable semi-dry saline EEG system. Patients imagined left- or right-hand grasping during video-guided trials (40 per subject). It is presented as the first open dataset addressing left- and right-handed motor imagery in acute stroke, supporting BCI algorithm development and rehabilitation applications. Raw and preprocessed data and patient clinical characteristics are provided.

Open-loop EEG dataset of kinesthetic motor imagery of ankle dorsiflexion/plantarflexion alternated with relaxation, recorded from six healthy participants. Each participant completed two sessions, one with a static and one with a moving lower-limb exoskeleton. The recordings contain 28 EEG channels and 4 EOG channels sampled at 250 Hz. This is a BIDS re-release of the Zenodo deposit, produced via MOABB.

EEG recordings from 9 healthy, BCI-naive participants performing two-class motor imagery (left vs. right hand), originally released as BCI Competition 2008 (IV) Graz data set B (Dataset 2b). Each participant completed five sessions: two screening sessions without feedback and three sessions with smiley visual feedback. Three bipolar EEG channels (C3, Cz, C4) and three EOG channels were recorded at 250 Hz.

EEG recordings from 12 healthy participants performing three-class motor imagery of the same upper extremity: rest, hand grasping, and elbow flexion. Each participant completed 4 sessions of 20 trials per class, recorded with a 32-channel EGI HydroCel net at 1000 Hz. The dataset supports research on brain-computer interface classification of imagined movements within one limb, for example for rehabilitation and motor control.

EEG recordings from healthy participants performing self-initiated palmar and lateral reach-and-grasp actions, acquired simultaneously across three recording systems: gel-based laboratory EEG, water-based mobile EEG, and dry-electrode mobile EEG. The dataset supports investigation of the feasibility of decoding natural reach-and-grasp movement-related cortical potentials across EEG acquisition modalities for brain-computer interface applications. It is distributed in BIDS format as part of the MOABB benchmark collection.

The EEG Moments Dataset (EMD) contains EEG responses from 6 human subjects viewing 1,102 naturalistic 3-second videos presented with their audio tracks. Each subject viewed the 1,000-video training set 6 times and the 102-video testing set 24 times. Eye tracking data (gaze and pupil size) were recorded during the experiment. The videos carry human annotations for objects, scenes, actions, sentence descriptions, spoken transcriptions, and memorability. EMD is the EEG companion to the BOLD Moments fMRI dataset.

A mobile EEG dataset of auditory attention from 20 participants performing a two-competing-speaker paradigm. Participants either sat on a chair or walked an indoor route while attending to one of two speakers. Salient environmental events presented from in front of the participant were used to disrupt attention, allowing neural tracking of speech to be studied in realistic, mobile conditions.
