This dataset contains 124-channel EEG recordings from 13 participants who imagined and perceived stimuli from three modalities: visual pictorial, visual orthographic, and auditory. Stimuli came from three semantically dissimilar categories (guitar, flower, penguin). Raw, pre-processed, and epoched versions of the data are provided to support research on semantic decoding from EEG.

EEG recordings from 33 participants who each completed both a visual and an auditory surprise task, with task order counterbalanced. The dataset supports investigation of electrophysiological markers of surprise-induced failures of visual and auditory awareness. Data from participants excluded at various analysis stages are included up to the stage of processing they reached.

A visual event-related potential dataset of 124-channel EEG recorded from 10 healthy participants viewing photographs from six object categories (human body, human face, animal body, animal face, fruit/vegetable, inanimate object). It contains 5,184 trials, with 72 images per category shown for 500 ms with a 750 ms interstimulus interval. The data support research on neural object representations through single-trial EEG classification and representational similarity analysis, and are distributed in BIDS format via MOABB.

EEG recordings from 37 healthy adult participants (under 35 years, normal or corrected-to-normal vision) performing a visual contextual trajectory paradigm. In this paradigm, the onset of a bound stimulus violated an established trajectory in brightness, size, or orientation, while control trials contained no violation. The dataset supports investigation of attribute-specific prediction error and expectation signals in visual processing.

EEG recordings from participants performing a rapid go/nogo visual task in which briefly flashed (20 ms) natural photographs had to be either categorized (animal vs. non-animal) or recognized (a previously learned probe image). Data were collected over two recording days, in series of 100 images with equally likely target and non-target trials. The dataset supports research on the timing of visual categorization and recognition processes and on single-trial EEG dynamics.
