The MNE-Sample-Data dataset is a simultaneous MEG and 60-channel EEG recording with an accompanying structural MRI, distributed with the MNE software. Checkerboard patterns were presented to the left and right visual fields, interleaved with tones to the left or right ear, and the subject responded to occasional smiley faces. It serves as a standard example dataset for demonstrating MEG/EEG analysis workflows, and FreeSurfer-derived anatomical surfaces are included.

A naturalistic neuroimaging dataset in which 30 participants underwent fMRI and a separate group of 30 participants underwent optically pumped magnetometer MEG (OPM-MEG) while watching a 25-minute excerpt of the Chinese reality TV show "Where Are We Going, Dad?". After viewing, participants answered comprehension questions and then rested with eyes closed for 15 minutes, which captured spontaneous mental replay of the video. The dataset includes anatomical scans and fMRIPrep-preprocessed fMRI data, and it supports studies of naturalistic story and social processing and of inter-subject correlation.

Intracranial EEG (iEEG) recordings used to evaluate a flexible, scalable, high-channel-count micro-stereo-electrode for recording neural activity in the brain. The dataset includes raw and preprocessed (epoched) recordings from multiple species, including human patients, non-human primates, pigs and rodents. Direct electrical stimulation was used to examine the effects of stimulation on brain activity. Data are organized in iEEG-BIDS format, with binary files and channel maps in the derivatives folder.

Intracranial EEG (stereo-EEG) recordings from 22 patients with drug-resistant epilepsy undergoing presurgical evaluation, capturing responses to 115 high-frequency intracranial electrical stimulations that evoked visual hallucinations. Each recording spans 21 seconds around the stimulation, with events annotated by stimulated contact pair, current intensity, and evoked effect, classified into 14 clinical categories. The data support identification of brain networks underlying visual symptoms and creation of symptom-related activation and connectivity maps.

MEG-MASC is a curated set of raw magnetoencephalography recordings from 27 English speakers who listened to about two hours of naturalistic stories drawn from the Manually Annotated Sub-Corpus (MASC). Each participant completed two sessions with four fictional stories, interleaved with random word lists and comprehension questions. Word and phoneme onsets and offsets are time-stamped in the event files, and the data are organized in BIDS. The dataset serves as a benchmark for large-scale encoding and decoding analyses of temporally resolved brain responses to speech.
