Cattan, Rodrigues & Congedo 2019 — Passive Head-Mounted Display Music-Listening EEG dataset (PHMD)
This dataset contains 16-channel electroencephalographic recordings from 12 healthy participants who listened to harpsichord music while fixating on a visual marker, with and without a passive head-mounted display (a headset containing no electronics apart from a smartphone). Each participant completed ten one-minute eyes-open blocks, five with the smartphone switched on and five with it switched off, in randomized order. The data were collected in a pilot experiment at GIPSA-lab, Grenoble, in 2017 to assess the impact of passive VR headsets on EEG signal quality.
