This dataset contains raw EEG recordings, in BrainVision format and organized according to BIDS, from participants silently reading word-by-word naturalistic narratives. It accompanies a study of auditory representations of words evoked during silent visual reading. Derivatives include preprocessed word-level EEG epochs, story and run metadata, expected/unexpected epoch labels, and corresponding feature embeddings.

VocalMind is a stereotactic EEG (sEEG) dataset for speech decoding research in a tonal language (Mandarin Chinese). Intracranial recordings were acquired while a participant produced vocalized, mimed, and imagined speech. The data support research on speech brain-computer interfaces and neural decoding of overt and covert speech. This BIDS conversion contains one subject with three tasks corresponding to the speech modes.

This dataset provides behavioral events and intracranial EEG recordings from a categorized delayed free recall task. Participants studied visually presented word lists built from 25 semantic categories, completed arithmetic distractor problems, and then freely recalled the words. Each 12-word list contains pairs of same-category words from three categories. Data were collected at multiple clinical sites in collaboration with the Computational Memory Lab at the University of Pennsylvania.
