EEG dataset recorded with a Biosemi system from participants receiving laser stimulation to elicit pain. After the laser intensity was calibrated to an average rating of about 7 on a 0-10 scale, each participant received 16 fixed-intensity laser stimuli roughly 20 seconds apart and rated the pain intensity after each one. The dataset supports research on pain perception and laser-evoked brain responses.
