Shin2022: Closed-loop 1D left/right motor imagery EEG dataset (live recordings)

EEG

A closed-loop EEG dataset of one-dimensional left/right motor imagery cursor control recorded from 10 healthy participants using a 16-channel dry-electrode system. Participants imagined left- or right-hand movement to drive a cursor toward a target under continuous visual feedback, completing 11 runs of 24 trials each while online control parameters were varied. The data support research on sensorimotor rhythm-based brain-computer interfaces and closed-loop decoding.

Real-time personalized brain state-dependent TMS in healthy adults

EEG Zarr

This dataset contains raw EEG and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) data from healthy adults, collected to test real-time, personalized brain state-dependent stimulation. Whole-brain activity patterns were decoded in real time to predict activation of the corticospinal tract, with motor evoked potentials as the outcome measure. The companion publication (Khatri, Pulliam, Manesiya, Cortez, Millán and Hussain, 'Personalized whole-brain activity patterns predict human corticospinal tract activation in real-time', Brain Stimulation, 2024) is in press and has no DOI yet.

Raw 64-channel EEG, electrocardiography, photoplethysmography, pupillometry and behavioral data from 86 participants during 4 minutes of eyes-closed rest and a digit span serial recall task. Participants memorized or passively listened to auditory digit sequences of 5, 9, or 13 items. The dataset supports work on cognitive load discrimination, event-related and oscillatory dynamics during encoding and maintenance, and links between working memory, central and peripheral physiology.

7-day motor imagery BCI EEG dataset from Zhou et al 2021

EEG Zarr

A longitudinal motor imagery brain-computer interface EEG dataset in which 20 healthy participants each completed seven sessions on separate days without feedback training. Four classes were recorded (left hand, right hand, both feet, rest) with a 41-channel Neuroscan system at 500 Hz, yielding 33,600 trials. The dataset supports research on the stability of motor imagery decoding across days and subjects.

BEH MEG Zarr

FACE-DEC is an OPM-MEG (optically pumped magnetometer magnetoencephalography) dataset for studying face perception through multivariate decoding and representational similarity analysis. The release includes analysis code for preprocessing (face_1_prep), decoding (face_2_dec), RSA (face_3_rsa), statistics (face_4_stat), and Bayesian model selection (face_6_bayes.m), with a main entry script (face_0_main). Individual facial point clouds and structural MRIs were not collected because optical scanning equipment was unavailable, so all analyses were performed at the whole-brain sensor level. Data collection was approved by the Institutional Review Board of Peking University.
