EEG dataset investigating the sense of agency over movements produced by electrical muscle stimulation (electrically-actuated movements). It examines the illusion of agency when involuntary, externally actuated movements are experienced, and provides raw EEG recordings organized in BIDS format.
EEG recordings from twenty healthy right-handed adults exposed to tendon vibration of the left elbow, designed to separate the percept of illusory movement from plain vibratory sensation. Sixteen sensorimotor electrodes were recorded while biceps and triceps tendons were vibrated at 90/50 Hz (illusion of elbow extension) or both at 70 Hz (control, no illusion). Each participant completed three blocks of 72 randomized three-second stimulations.

Magnetoencephalography (MEG) recordings from participants with major depressive disorder and non-depressed controls performing a probabilistic selection reinforcement learning task. The dataset was collected to examine the Reward Positivity and related ventromedial frontal cortex activity during feedback processing. It includes 90 participants, 52 with MDD and 38 controls, all screened using the SCID interview. T1 anatomical and resting-state data are planned to be added in a later release. EEG recordings from participants receiving laser stimuli of calibrated intensity to evoke pain. After individual calibration to the energy level yielding an average rating of 7, each participant received 10 laser stimulations and rated pain intensity and unpleasantness on a 0-10 numeric rating scale. The dataset supports research on pain perception and related neural responses.

This dataset contains four-minute eyes-closed resting-state EEG recordings extracted from the Stimulus-Selective Response Modulation (SRM) project paradigm at the University of Oslo. It includes 64-channel BioSemi recordings from 111 healthy control participants at a first session (t1), with a subset re-recorded at a later session (t2). Raw data are provided with a fully automated cleaned derivative, along with demographic and cognitive test scores.
Human electroencephalography (EEG) recordings from 80 participants who reported their attitudes on a set of sociopolitical issues and then viewed photographs of protests about those same issues. Each photo was preceded by a pie chart showing low, medium, or high social support for the issue. After each photo, participants rated their support for the protestors. The dataset supports investigation of how moral conviction and metacognitive ability shape multiple stages of information processing.
