The MNE-Sample-Data dataset is a simultaneous MEG and 60-channel EEG recording with an accompanying structural MRI, distributed with the MNE software. Checkerboard patterns were presented to the left and right visual fields, interleaved with tones to the left or right ear, and the subject responded to occasional smiley faces. It serves as a standard example dataset for demonstrating MEG/EEG analysis workflows, and FreeSurfer-derived anatomical surfaces are included.

EEG recordings from four participants performing motor imagery of the left hand, right hand, and feet, originally reported by Zhou et al. (2016) in a study on automated trial selection for motor imagery brain-computer interfaces. Each participant completed three sessions of two runs, giving 450 trials per subject. Data were recorded from 14 channels at 250 Hz and reformatted into BIDS from a MOABB-generated Zenodo version.

Each participant completed three blocks of ten stimuli, with high and low pain intensities evenly distributed within each block. This dataset contains consumer-grade 14-channel EEG (EMOTIV EPOC X) recorded from 30 sessions while participants completed eyes-open and eyes-closed baselines and listened to about 17 s of two sonic-seasoning soundscapes (jungle and deconstruct). Liking ratings and baseline-state survey items are provided in participants.tsv, with the stimulus audio and the manufacturer's contact and EEG quality signals. An EEGLAB-ready processed version of the two soundscape conditions is included as a derivative.
