NEMAR Dataset nm000103: HBN-EEG NC - Healthy Brain Network EEG data
This dataset provides high-density (128-channel) EEG and mouse-tracking data from 31 adults aged 18-33, collected in 2020. It includes resting-state recordings and task recordings from food preference choices and semantic judgments. The resource is intended for studying the dynamic decision processes underlying binary choices in the human brain.
This dataset contains scalp EEG recordings from 22 participants who played BrainForm, a gamified P300 event-related potential brain-computer interface built for scalable data collection with consumer hardware and a minimal setup. Participants completed repeated runs of a P300 spelling/selection task at two task complexities. The data support study of BCI skill acquisition across sessions and of how different visual stimulation textures affect perception and performance.
This dataset contains EEG and behavioral recordings from 120 healthy adults performing an emotion processing and regulation task with static images under sham and active transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) of the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex. Each participant completed two counterbalanced sessions. It includes preprocessed ERP derivatives and tDCS side-effect and blinding-effectiveness questionnaire data, and examines affective response evaluation in lonely individuals.
EEG recordings from children performing letter discrimination and visual search tasks involving the mirror-image letters b and d, collected in an embodied learning for literacy study. Each participant completed a pre-intervention discrimination task, an intervention-phase visual search task, and a post-intervention discrimination task. Participants were assigned to an intervention or control group, and events mark stimulus presentation of b and d letters, including practice trials.
Electrocorticography (ECoG) recordings from 20 C57BL/6 mice in three cohorts: blinking light only, transcranial diagnostic ultrasound (tDUS) only, and combined tDUS with light. The dataset was collected to test how tDUS modulates the visual cortex's response to external visual stimulation. It includes raw, event-triggered, and processed ECoG data.
This dataset contains raw EEG and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) data from healthy adults, collected to test real-time, personalized brain state-dependent stimulation. Whole-brain activity patterns were decoded in real time to predict activation of the corticospinal tract, with motor evoked potentials as the outcome measure. The companion publication (Khatri, Pulliam, Manesiya, Cortez, Millán and Hussain, 'Personalized whole-brain activity patterns predict human corticospinal tract activation in real-time', Brain Stimulation, 2024) is in press and has no DOI yet.
This dataset contains four-minute eyes-closed resting-state EEG recordings extracted from the Stimulus-Selective Response Modulation (SRM) project paradigm at the University of Oslo. It includes 64-channel BioSemi recordings from 111 healthy control participants at a first session (t1), with a subset re-recorded at a later session (t2). Raw data are provided with a fully automated cleaned derivative, along with demographic and cognitive test scores.
EEG, galvanic skin response (GSR) and electrocardiogram (ECG) recordings from 16 healthy participants who listened to 40 s synthetically generated music clips targeting two affective states defined by valence and arousal. Data were collected over three sessions on separate days, each with four runs of 18 trials. The recordings were made to train an affective brain-computer music interface (BCMI-MIdAS) to induce target emotional states in individual users. Self-reported valence and arousal values and auxiliary variables are included.
PsiConnect is a multimodal neuroimaging dataset examining context-dependent neural and subjective effects of psilocybin in 62 participants scanned before and after a 19 mg dose. It combines multi-echo functional, structural and diffusion-weighted MRI with EEG during resting state and three naturalistic conditions (guided meditation, music listening, movie watching). Half of the cohort completed an 8-week meditation training program. Behavioural and self-report measures with follow-ups up to one year support study of acute and longitudinal effects.
