Phantom EEG Dataset with Motion, Muscle, and Eye Artifacts and Example Scripts

EEG Zarr

This dataset contains EEG recordings from an electrically conductive head phantom, used to test motion, muscle, and eye artifact removal with known ground-truth brain signals. Six conditions were recorded: brain-only, brain with eye, jaw muscle, neck muscle, or motion artifacts, and brain with all artifacts at once. It also includes the iCanClean EEGLAB plugin and example scripts for parameter sweep testing and validation.

Bern-Barcelona EEG database: focal and nonfocal intracranial EEG signal pairs (Andrzejak, Schindler & Rummel 2012)

iEEG

The Bern-Barcelona database contains 7500 pairs of intracranial EEG signals (3750 focal and 3750 non-focal) from five patients with pharmacoresistant temporal lobe epilepsy. Each pair consists of two neighbouring channels, recorded for 20 s at 512 Hz and drawn from seizure-free intervals, and the pairs have been used to study nonrandomness, nonlinear dependence and nonstationarity of EEG. This BIDS release is a lossless repackaging of the original published text files into BrainVision format. Patient identity is not retained, so all runs are pooled under a single pseudo-subject.

BEH EEG Zarr

EEG recordings from 146 participants (98 individuals with Parkinson's disease and 48 controls) performing a Simon conflict task. Stimuli appeared on the left or right side of the screen, and participants responded with a left or right key according to stimulus color. Trials were spatially congruent or incongruent with the response hand. Data were collected alongside other cognitive tasks to study conflict processing and midfrontal activity in Parkinson's disease.

The MNE-Sample-Data dataset is a simultaneous MEG and 60-channel EEG recording with an accompanying structural MRI, distributed with the MNE software. Checkerboard patterns were presented to the left and right visual fields, interleaved with tones to the left or right ear, and the subject responded to occasional smiley faces. It serves as a standard example dataset for demonstrating MEG/EEG analysis workflows, and FreeSurfer-derived anatomical surfaces are included.

ANAT EEG FUNC Zarr

A multi-modal neuroimaging dataset (XP1) with simultaneous 64-channel EEG and fMRI recorded while 10 participants performed right-hand kinaesthetic motor imagery with neurofeedback. Each participant completed motor localizer, pre- and post-training motor imagery runs, and three neurofeedback runs (EEG-only, fMRI-only, and bimodal EEG-fMRI). The release includes raw and preprocessed EEG, BOLD fMRI, anatomical data, and EEG and BOLD neurofeedback scores to support multi-modal data integration.

Pan2023: Cross-session motor imagery dataset from Pan et al. 2023

EEG

A cross-session motor imagery EEG dataset from 14 healthy participants who performed cued left- versus right-hand motor imagery on two separate days. Data were recorded with 28 EEG channels at 250 Hz and comprise 60 trials per class per session. The dataset supports research on brain-computer interface decoding and cross-session variability, and it is distributed here in BIDS format with HED event annotations.
