EEG recordings from 142 participants who received laser-evoked pain stimuli at fixed low and high intensities and rated the pain intensity after each stimulus. Each participant completed 3 blocks of 10 stimuli, with high and low pain stimuli evenly distributed within each block. Data were recorded with a Biosemi system and are intended for studying the neural correlates of pain perception.

EEG dataset recorded with a Biosemi system from participants receiving laser stimulation to elicit pain. After the laser intensity was calibrated to an average rating of about 7 on a 0-10 scale, each participant received 16 fixed-intensity laser stimuli roughly 20 seconds apart and rated the pain intensity after each one. The dataset supports research on pain perception and laser-evoked brain responses.
