…No effect of rhythmic visual stimulation on experimental pain perception. *[Journal Name…
EEG recordings from 31 healthy adults who listened to 40 twelve-second film-score music clips chosen to induce a range of emotional states. The dataset includes unprocessed EEG at 1 kHz, resting-state runs, and participants' self-reported induced emotional responses. It supports investigation of the neural correlates of music-induced emotion and was collected within the BCMI-MIdAS project.

The MET dataset contains EEG recordings from 20 participants during a resting-state session and twenty music-listening sessions, each featuring a different song. Each music session lasts 130 seconds, with 5 seconds before onset, 120 seconds of playback and 5 seconds after offset. The data were recorded with a 128-channel system, then preprocessed and reduced to 66 channels, and are organized according to BIDS.

EEG recordings from musicians listening to three-chord progressions in an auditory oddball-style paradigm. Standard progressions were interspersed with exemplar deviants (different chord inversion) and function deviants (different harmonic function of the middle chord). The dataset supports investigation of how improvisational experience relates to the categorization of musical structures.

EEG, galvanic skin response (GSR) and electrocardiogram (ECG) recordings from healthy adult volunteers listening to 40-s synthetic music clips designed to target specific affective states defined by valence and arousal. The data were collected to calibrate an affective brain-computer music interface that induces target emotional states through real-time modification of generated music. Each session comprised 5 runs of 18 music trials, and self-reported valence and arousal ratings are included. This is the calibration dataset of three related datasets from the BCMI-MIdAS project.
